A thank - you note was read from Bobbielte Gilt for the gift sent to her lrom the members. Members voted to not have a Christmas tree this year; and no more dances for sometime. Darrell Horsley, LeRoy Biel h and Bobby Potucek won their recond class awards; Charlie Bob Dehllnger won his first class award: merit awards went to Le Roy Bieler and Bobby Potucek on pork production and Charlie Bob Dehllnger for beef, music home repairs. Bob Dehllnger is the scout mast er, his assistant is Bruce Bieler. Russell Walsh attends the meet ings held in Klamalh Falls once a month. The scouts arc sponsored by the Irrigation District, Louis Randall representing the district. Mrs. Cora Ticknor, Medford, 13 visiting Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mon roe, Mrs. Mae Gale and other friends. Her granddaughter. Mrs. Frank Shelton and two children, sailed from Seattle last week for Japan. Her husband has been there for a year. She was Hazel Loorms before her marriage and grew up in Langell Valley. Billie Harris left last week tor Phoenix. Arizona where she will work this winter. The banquet at which 20 mem bers and guests were served, was preceded by a social hour in the parlor upstairs, when Mrs. Crump was welcomed. Honored Queen Jackie Acker man escorted Mrs. Crump to the dining room, followed . by new class candidates, other members, and guests.
