Cake and coffee were served by Mrs. Rayburn South and Mrs. .lohn Ruby, sister of Mas. Wiseman. . The. large white wedding cake, baked by Mrs. Joe Ivlc. was dec orated wlth whlle and gold lenves. A frosty white wedding bell in the leaves was Inscribed' Inside with "50" In gold numerals. ' Zack Overton Wiseman, native of Brumley, Missouri, claimed Dice Ro-c, of -Cambridge. Idaho, for his bride October 4, 1904, at La Grande, Oregon. Omer Wiseman, only son of Zack Wiseman, was .at the reception to honor his father and stepmother, who assumed care of him on her wedding day, when he was eight. Among those present to honor the couple were Mr. and Mrs. George Buckiier, Virginia Red- 5TH BIRTHDAY , Larry Halousek, five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Halou sek, observed his birthday on Co lumbus Day, October 12, along with his daddy, also bora on the same date. . Little irlends spending the day with Larry were Bobby Byrne, Jiinmio Ottoman, Gregg spolek, Bruce Vlctorln and his brother Ty Halousek. Games were played and birthdnv cake served. V) 13 Daly-Montgomery Vows First Christian Church was the scene of nn informal wedding, Oc tober 10. The Rev. Oeorgo Alder officiated at the 12:30 p.m. ex change of nuptlLl vows batween Beryl Jean Montgomery and Oene Lyman Daly. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Montgomery, Ashland Highway; and her husband's parents are Mi. and Mrs. Sheldon J. Daly. Talent. The bride, escorted by her fath er who gave her in marriage, wore a street length white faille dresa: and carried a white Bible topped with a large purple throated white orchid, tied with stephanotis flor ets and satin streamers. Her sister, Shirley Montgomery. Beyrl's only attendant, wore an aqua faille dress of the same pat' tern as the bride a. Both dresses were made by their mother, Bhlr ley carried a nosegay bouquet of white carnations and pink rose buds. Don A. Daly served his brother as nest man. Mrs. Stanley Kendall, organist. Sohrakoff, who sang "Through the Years" preceding the ceremony: and Stanley Kendall., who euf Sevier, Like a Shepherd Lad Us" after .the service. The reception was at the home of the bride's parent! for oloae Iriends and relatives. Cake was served by Mrs. Donald Roper, sister of the bride: punch by Mrs. C. J. Montgomery, bride's aunt; coffee by Mrs. Olen Montgomery,, also aunt; and Mrs. Don Daly, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, registered the guests. The new Mr. and Mrs. Daly left Immediately after the reception for Camp Kanford. Washington, where he Is stationed. Beyrl was bora in Klamath Palls; attended A 1 1 a m o n t and Keno grade schools and Henley Hiah School. Gene, a graduate of Ashland grade and high schools: has been in the army (or two years. Montgomery ' became the bride of Gene Lyman Daly, October 10. The Rev. George Alder read the 12:30 p.m. service in First Chris tian Church, witnessed by a number of local and out-of-town ' friends and relatives. Bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. F.
