Young Farmer Wins Award KANSAS CITY IflSuccesi story, American style: Seven years ago Burd W. Schanti's father died, placing much of the burden of operating the family farm on his son. At the time, Burd was 13. Today the farm Is a S30.000 en terprise and young Schantz, now 20. Is the 1954 Star Farmer of America.
