Mike Willlngham, a IBM Gil christ High graduate, was home on a short leave for the weekend. Mike, an airman, 3rd class, at Lowry Air Base In Colorado, stat ed that he was glad to be home even if for a short while. Mike did some deer hunting on the opening day of the season and returned to his base by Monday. Bob Sipe, class of '53. and Wally Cory, class of '54, both students enrolled in forestry at Oregon State College, spent the weekend here visiting with their families and friends. The first dance of the year, the Hello Dance, given by the Grlz zliettes, was a big hit for all at tending siuaenin ana teachers. Re freshments were served during a break in the dancing program.
