PLAIN PLANE fa FACTS You may liove heard some recent comments tellinq how one type crop dustinq or sproyinq aircraft qives bet ter coveraqe than another type . . . BUT we wanted to find out just who to believe so we went to the pilots themselves. Reqardless of whether the pilots were flyinq Cubs or Stearmans, thev would quarantee only to do as qood a job of application in their type plane as in the other type. No pilot thought his machine could kill more buqs. 'Course, somo of them lauqhed it off , . . seems a lot of flyinq services use both types of ships interchangeably! Arquinq horsepower and winq lift is for the techni cians . . . what the far mer .wants is a qood job of application. You can qet it with cither type airplane.
