McKinney at an open house affair which was held from 2 to 5 p.m. About 75 relatives and friends called during the after noon. Bouquets of roses and snapdrag ons formed the decorations for the occasion. A yellow and white col or scheme was carried out in the table decorations and a beautiful ly decorated cake centered the serving tabic. Mrs. Hershel Morris cut the cake with Mrs. W. O. Piper at the coiiee urn, ana Airs, upai iaion serving the punch. Mrs. Grace Nichols, Mrs. LaVerne Slusser and Mrs. Geneva Propst assisted about the rooms. Miss Lois McKinney had charge of the guest book. Mrs. Kcnnerly was attractive in a grey crepe dress with a cor sage of gold carnations. Coming from out-of-town for the lovely affair were : Mr. Kennerly's brother-in-law and sister. Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Ken ly, Antioch, Calif.; Sandy Ken nerly of Portland; Earl Kcnnerly of Lakeside and Byron of Los An geles, who was unable to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Kennerly have 19 grandchildren: Mrs. Betty Harris. Sutherlin; Mrs. Mary Hout, Van couver, Washington; Jim, Lois and Larry McKinney; Stevie. Cliff and Ronnie Kennerly; David, Janie, Christine and Ann Kennerly, all of Roseburg; Linda and Michael Ken nerly, Antioch. Calif.; Sandy Ken nerly, Klamath Falls; Joanne and Gary Kennerly, Lakeside; and Rod dy and Jamie Propst, Cloverdale. California. They have three great grandchildren: Karen and Bruce Harris. Sutherlin; and Lou Ann Hoyt, Vancouver, Washington. Mr. and Mrs, Kennerly moved to Roseburg In 1043, after many years in Klamath Falls. They still have a host of close friends here who will be Interested to know of their anniversary celebration. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Taylor and fourteen months old son, Stevie left July 14 for Portland to live. They were accompanied by Mrs. Taylor's (.Dottiei sister, Blanche Meadows, who came here from the sisters' home state, Tennessee, two and one-half months ao. Mrs. Taylor has lived in Oregon for two years; and after consider able traveling around, she hopes to make her husband's state with its beautiful mountains, lakes and rivers her own. He was born and reared in Bend, and while in Klamath Falls was with the State Highway Engineer ing Department. Mrs. Taylor was secretary to Howard R. Perrin, architect. Bridegroom is tile son of Mrs. Dale Choate, 142 Riverside Drive, this city; and he also was a student at Harding for two years. He recently finished his course in X-ray technology at OTI, leaving immediately after graduation for Memphis to be married. Plans were made lor the annual adult picnic to be held at Moore Park on July 29, 6:30 p.m. for So journers' and quests: 'Mrs. L.' C. Watrud and Mrs. Orman Gildow are co-chairmen. Committee mem bers include Mrs. Sam Jones, Mrs. J. C. Ncwlund, Mrs. J. R. Rhodes, Mrs. L. Ziegelmeyer and Mrs R. H. Ballard. All members of Sojourners will be contacted for food and table service.
