The new bride is - the former Gwendolyn Thompson, Portland, sister of Mrs. J. S. Wynn, Tulelalce. Hotesscs were Mrs. Carl Jensen, Mrs. Sam Anderson, Mrs. Albert Scott. Mrs. Ed Seus, Mrs. Harry Hundley. Mrs. Hildur Larson 'and Mrs. A. E. Ryckman. Guests were entertained with reading by Mrs. Stanley Bradbury; skit by Mr. and Mrs. Ed Seus; Mrs. Sam Anderson gave a read ing and there was community sing ing with Mrs. Anderson and Mrs, Larson as leaders. Mrs. H. T, Street introduced some games with honors going to Ed Seus, John O'Shea and Mrs. Sam Wynn, The guests of honor were pre sented with a gift from the group. Fifty-five co workers, including all chapter offi cers, were present, and four visi tors from Klamath Falls Chapter 467 attended the meeting. Reports of standing committees were read and accepted. Elizabeth Holland moved and Rose Baley seconded a motion that the chap ter donate $5.00 to the Girl Gradu ate Scholarship fund. Barbara Icenblce was elected chaplain, following the resignation of Betty Jo Brlghtman. The execu tive committee will meet at the home of Rose Spolek on Thursday evening, July l. A program of entertainment fol lowed girls of the assembly. Betty Clifford, Nancy Hopson and Pat Case, accompanied by Geraldlne sterner, sang their version of 'Bimbo." calling themselves TTu-ee Drops and a Drip." An interesting report on the ac tlvites of the previous year was given by Doris Wallln. grand rep resentative of the State of Oregon K me state ol New Mexico. "Hi-Li- Hl-Lo" was sung by BeU ty Clifford, with Nancy Hopson as accompanist. A bit of humor was added when Shirley Barleen recited "The Good Little Boy." The girls then introduced them selves and their fathers. For those girls whose fathers were unable to attend, Mr. Yorkland acted as "Daddy." The retiring march and the sing ing of "My Rainbow Dreams," completed the entertaining eve ning. Refreshments were served afterwards in an attractively dec orated dining room. Next regular meeting of the Rainbow Girls will be June 28, at 7:30 p.m. OES Manzanita Chapter 172 Many members and visitors were present Friday night June 18 when Manzanita Chapter No. 172 OES met at the IOOP Hall with worthy matron Lois Oueck and worthy patron Everett Blenn presiding.
