The special event will be -a ten lap $50 pot race driven by the first 10 drivers, who register and pay their five dollar entry fee. Starting positions will be drawn at the track before the race gets underway and Uie first two or three finishers will spilt the pot's total. The feuds, which have been work ing to a head all season, and really became noticeable last Sunday night, when some of -the name drivers became entangled In a few exchanges of words and some extra curricular shoving. These arguments between the dif ferent drivers seem to enlighten Use fans, and almost always add some sort of thrills for the hardtop en thusiasts, who attend the evening races. , - ' ' ' Another' added' attraction will be Uie attendance of the 1954 Rodeo Queen Darlene Wlnebarger and her court. The lovely lassies of the saddle trails' will be the guests of Uie track management. - Going into Uie sixth week of rac ing, the fans are still looking Rr a driver who can come back and win his second main event. So far this season a different driver has won the main event-prize money every week. f- Bernic Miller and Cecil James of M e d f o r d were the first two win ners, then Wes Owens, and Bob Crawley finished the 25 lap event first, and last week. Dale Hankihs entered the winner's circle by cop ping Uie A-main money. As the drivers and cars start the Father's Day program tomorrow. Bob Crawley in K-66 is leading the point system after the llrst five evenings ot racing with a grand total of 117. Johnny Hltson in K-7 and Russ Newell in K-15 are light ing it out for second and third spot with 105 and 103 points respec tively. ' The remaining two drivers to round out the top five point getters are Wes Owens in K-16 and Al Ros si In K-42. Owens has racked up a 94 point total, while Rossi, who has been plagued by spots of bad luck so far this year, is holding on to an even 30 points. Besides the special pot race there will be another nine events and the time trials. Four heat races, ten laps each, will get the evening show started, while a trophy dasn and final heat will fill out the mitldle part of the program. The C-rnce or consolation event will follow and then comes the B main and the A-maln to put the finishing touches on the racing menu.
