The government's new buying prices for Cheddar cheese, also ef fective April 1, will be 32.25 cents a pound for grade A or higher compared with 37 cents now. The new price for U.S. extra grade non-fat dried milk will be 15 cents a pound for the spray process type compared with 16 cents now. and 13.25 for the roller process type compared with 14 cents now. The department said these prices for dairy prod icts were de signed to enable processors pav dairymen $3.14 for 100 pounds of milk and 56 cents a pound for but ter fal. The present dairy product support prices are designed to re flect S3.74 for milk and 67.3 for butter rat.
