Quests were welcomed by Mrs. M. . W. Hover, and were served from the attractive lace covered tea table centered with a bright spring-like bouquet of acaoia and pink carnations. Tney were seated before an open wood fire to en- Joy tea and conversations. Mrs. Gilbert Wolters played back ground music during the arrival of the guests, - ' and accompanied Mrs. Bob Johnson, who played sev eral violin solos. Mis. Earl Sher idan entertained with a group of voacl solos accompanied by Mrs. Earl Redman. Ann perdersen and Fat Taylor sane a duet, also ac companied by Mrs. Redman. Yellow tinted floral snravs: lend ing a touch of spring, were used to decorate the chapter room and parlors. Seated In the east with Rena Oldham, worthy matron; and Ray mond Owens, worthy patron; was Everett Biehn, worthy patrons of Mansanlta 112. Other guests In troduced were: Doris Dylceman from Eveleth Chapter 214, Eveleth, Minnesota and Ralph LaSalle from Esther Chanter 34. Adln. Califor. nia. Alva Custer was welcomed and presented a "Oolden Rule" with appropriate verse from the worthy matron upon his affiliation with Aloha Chapter. Mrs. Custer honor ed her husband with a vocal solo and harp music. After the business meeting Clara Sherman, treasurer, was seated in the east. A clever addendum was given in her honor and she was presented a gift chest containing good wishes from the chapter. Tak ing part were: Leona Selby. sec retary; Martha Powell, conduc tress; Edna Jones, associate ma tron; Maude Wright, associate con ductress; Norma Uerlings, acting treasurer; Leona Angel, marshal; and Ruth Hopson, organist. Refreshments were served in the banquet room from tables deco rated with green tapers, yellow streamers and colored leaves. Maude Wright was responsible for all decorations. The group enjoyed colored slides of local scenes and people, alter which pinochle was played. She was a member of the band, orchestra and Latin Club. At present she Is a senior at Wheaton College, specialising In Christian education and music. The bridegroom Is a graduate In Dhilosonhv from the same scnooi, He is preparing lor uie ministry; and has studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Gordon College and Harvard University. Bridesmaids were Hazel Schiefer stein, In lavender with the same colonial bouquet in pink and laven der; Mrs, .Dale Carr, In pink, with lavender and pink; and Barbara 3olie, In- pale green, - with mint green and yellow bouquet. Flower gin was Starla Bridge; and ring bearer was Davie Foster, nephew, of the bridegroom. The bridegroom's brother. Ran dal Foster, served him as best man; and ushers, Cliff Joplln, John Paul Foster" (bridegroom's broth er); and Charles Zumwalt were also icandlellghters. . Tne bride's mother chose a pastel pink two piece afternoon suit with silver metallio embroidery; silver metallic trimmed afternoon hat white gloves and navy ahoes and purse. Mrs. ' Foster wore ' a navy suit-dress; red shoes and puase; with white hat and gloves. At the reception in the - church parlors, Mrs.' Dean Mason and Mrs. Gene Overen poured; Mary Mauch cut the cake; and Doralyn Parton registered the guests. For travel, Barbara wore a blue- gray checked suit with navy and white accessories. Many of the guests went to the bride's home on Patterson Street after the re ception (and some of them "kid napped" the bridegroom and took him to Dorrls).
