Johnson Jr.. when mem bers of her immediate family and relatives were told the news at a New Year's Eve dinner given at the home of her Barents, Mr, and Mrs. John E. Copriviza, Watsonville. Her lance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Johnson Sr., of Tule lake and Laguna Beach, well known Tulelake ranchers. The bride-elect is presently teaching in Tulelake Union High School her third year as Spanish and English instruc tor. The wedding is planned for Feb. 20, in Watsonville. They will live in Tulelake where he has ranching interests. FORT KLAMATH Mrs. How ard Commons, leader of the Meth odist Youth Fellowship group of the. Fort- Klamath Community Methodist Church entertained the youngsters with a Jolly party Jan. 13, at her home at the Klamath Hatchery on Crooked Creek. Games provided the diversion for the young people, and the en joyable party was climaxed by serving of refreshments by M r s. Commons 'at the close of a lively and recreation session. Members of the Fellowship group present were Janet Wilson, Enid Williams, Anita Vaden, Jim Veatch, Wynn Hescock. Billy Zumbrun and Law rence Kendall, Acting as chauffeur for the group was Richard H. She is a graduate of Buhl High School; and attended the University of Idaho, Oregon College of Education and will be graduated from the University of Oregon this spring. She is affiliated with Pi Beta Phi Sorority. , John, son of. Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Epley, well known former Klamath Falls residents, now of Long Beach, is a grad uate of the University of Oregon where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. He is presently a student at the U of O medical school in Portland, and is affiliated with Phi Beta Pi medical fraternity. A June wedding is scheduled. KLAMATH SADDLE CLUB PARTY The Klamath Saddle Club social event of the holiday season was the Christmas party at Reames country club. The tables were arranged- cabaret style and decorat ed with a Santa Claus and indi vidual favors made by the com mittee. Santa (Fred Beymer) ' arrived and distributed the gifts from large stockings made by Vi Hill. Music was furnished by Pete Colley and his orchestra with specialty ar rangements played for games and dances throughout the evening. The balloon dance was won by Ly- vitifi Mattoon and Charlie Read. The anniversary waltz was played for Beth and Olie Chase, who were celebrating their wed ding anniversaries that day.
