Baked Eggs On Cheesed Potatoes When you're faced with leftover baked potatoes, be glad. Here's a dish that's sure to get them up in the morning on time for breakfast. Remove skins and cut in small dice the baked potatoes. Arrange In a ring around the outside edge of a buttered shallow baking dish or platter. Break desired number of eggs In center of the ring. Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper both the eggs and potatoes. Dot with butter, then dribble cream or undiluted evaporated milk over the potatoes, enough to moisten well, and then some more over the eggs, allowing about 2 tablespoons to an egg. Cover potato ring with a thick layer of coarsely grated or thinly sliced American cheese. Bake In a moderately slow overt 325 degrees. for 20 minutes or until the eggs are set." I Serve from .dish with chilled tomato Juice and coffee caked, heated in the oven. Bits of cooked ham may be add. ed with the potatoes along with minced parsley or chives. Season ings for eggs may include garlic salt, a few drops of Tabasco and Worcestershire sauces, or savory, marjoram, thyme. This is a good Sunday buffet breakfast main dish. Remove skins from cooked baked potatoes. Slice or cut in small dice. Place in omelet or frying pan in melted butter. Season with salt and pepper. Add some ' minced parsley or chopped chives or bits of cooked ham, if you wish. President i Eisenhower started his second year in the White House Wednes day and received a surprise gift depleting bis career from boynooa on a Kansas farm to the presi dency. -. The gift,, a handsome 12! i Inch cup made of Steuben glass, was presented to the President at a ceremony in the cabinet room at the White House commemorating the first- anniversary of bis inau guration. With a smiling Mrs. Elsenhower looking on, the President received the gift from the members of his Cabinet, Republican Party offi cials, leaders of the Citizens for Elsenhower Committee and the White House staff. In advance of the ceremony, a close associate of the President declared "he's thriving on the challenge'' of the big Job ahead. . Surrounded by donors of the' gift, Eisenhower pulled out' a pocket knife and slit the white paper in which the big box was wrapped and removed the red,, white and blue ribbon. "It's Just beautiful," Mrs. Elsen hower exclaimed as the President removed the cup from the box. She wore ft navy blue dress, a small blue hat with pink trim and pink gloves to match.
