Action Worked Out
SEATTLE HI The Yakima local
of the AFL Teamsters' Union has
been placed In trusteeship until an
"Internal dispute" can be investi
gated. Dave Beck, 'nationnl head
of the union, announced Tuesday.
Beck said Fred Wedde, a union
official from Walla Walla, has been
placed In charge of the 1,836-mem-ber
Yakima local 624. He will be
assisted by Frank Farrtngton, for
merly a Teamsters' Union official
In Seattle.
"The trusteeship will be tempo
rary until we can ascertain what
the difficulties were In the local
and straighten them out," Beck
said. "We believe we can moro
quickly work out a solution this
way."
