Truck Rates May Be Cut WASHINGTON HI An Inter state Commerce Commission ex aminer has recommended a reduc tion of interstate truck rates in some Pacific Northwest areas. In a report to the ICC, Exam iner Samuel Horwich said Wednes day that in an answer to com plaints from some shipping inter ests a 15 per cent increase placed in effect in Montana. Wyoming and Colorado In 1952 should be reduced to 12 per cent to match rates in effect in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Horwich explained the truckers put a general 6 per cent increase in effect throughout the area in 1952. But to maintain relationships between interstate and intrastate rates, Washington. Oregon and Id aho added six per cent and Mon tana, Wyoming and Colorado I per cent.
