XMAS PARTY Orions met at the home of Mrs. Chester Newton for their Decem ber meeting. It was a Christmas party, with a gift exchange. A novel idea was used to distribute the gifts. A game similar to musi cal chairs was played, except that improvised bells were used instead of chairs. Music was played and the players marched around the bells. When the music stopped each player tried to sit on a bell. The gifts and bells had corresponding numbers on them. The player re ceived the gift with the number maichlng the number on the bell, , upon which they sat. The game was played until all players re ceived a gift. Loretta Newton gave a reading, "At the Turn of the Road." au thored by Susan Keating Olastel. A musical program followed and Christmas Carols were sung. Hostesses were Mrs. Chester Newton, Mrs. Paul Dollar and Mrs. John Heyden. Those present were. Mrs. Cy Baker, Mrs. Fred Biehn, Mrs. Charles Cummings.
