(Annie) Lem, Chiloquin, was given by Mrs. George GriziU at her home, 927 Jefferson, and Mrs. I,ynn Royee, on Mrs. Lent' 84th birthday, Nov. 21. It was 41 reel pioneer get-together of members of the Schoolmates Club, on of tht oldest toclal clubi in Klamath Falls, and other lifelong friend of Mrs. Lem. Ice cream and the ornate birthday cake were terved with coffee it 1:30 p.m. end gift wai alio presented to Mrs. Royee whose birthday was Nov. 22. . KT.AMATH fAU.S. OREGON Garden Club Meets at Malin MALIN Malln Garden Club met at the home of Mrs E. H. Love ness Wednesday afternoon. Nov. 19. for regular monthly meeting. The business meeting was con ducted by Mrs. Loyal Loveness. In the absence of president and Mra. Alden Loveness was secretary pro tern. Reports were made by sever al members, who had attended the sub-district meeting in Klamath Falls and a note of thanks was read by Mrs. Charles Hamilton who made the centerpiece for the luncheon at the Yacht Club. Mrs, Elva Smalley was Intro duced after the business meeting and led the group In the discus sion of making Christmas decor ations. Using huge plies of ever green boughs, Juniper berries, rib bon and candles, she made and displayed lovely wreaths, swags and table arrangements. Cookies and tea were served irom an attractively arranged ta ble, covered with a dark green cloth and centered with a large bouquet ol yellow and bronze chry santhemums arranged in a low straw basket. . Tall lighted yellow candles were placed at either end. Mrs. Merle Looxlcv was co-hostess with Mrs. Loveness. Present were: Mrs. Bemice Ste ward, Mrs. Walter Stastnv. Mrs. A. V. Bazaar plans were discussed and instead of the regular Decem ber meeting, there will be a Christmas tree luncheon for the young members.
