Discussion was held of the various types of dlMies which will be prepared this year. There was a levlrw of proper measuring and how to set a Inula properly. Eiu'h chose one food which ha doesn't like very well and during the course of the yeur each will try to like it better. We also talked of what we could do as some typo of community serv ice. In old business Information was gathered to finish filling out rec ord sheet. In new business It was brought up to answer roll call by saying how much knitting was done during the week. Mrs. Rexford said that club members should bring their knitting to each meet ing. At the stale convention held Inst April In Pendleton, the Oregon Congress reaffirmed Its position In support of the School District Re organliatlon bill, 330 X YES. PTA leaders point out that this measure will provide an orderly maimer in which school districts may be combined, through action of local voters, to plan adequately for the local needs of each community. The Oregon Congress of PTA and educational leaders throughout the stale are endorsing the .measure making Superintendent of Public Instruction appointive. 300 X YES.
