A lower than expected estimate of soybean and oat production bv the government caused beans to lump as much a 6 cents at the opening and gave feed grains a firm to strong tone. Realiiing sales were well ab sorbed, especially in beans. Holland took two cargoes of U. S. hard wheat, which had a steadying effect on that grain.
