They were convicted by a Su perior Court Jury on June 28. The convictions were upheld by the Washington State Supreme Court j which also refused a later request. for a rehearing. Action by Federal Judge Sam Driver set up the latest appeal. Judge Driver last Friday denied a writ of habeas corpus and rejected both a motion for a stay ot execu tion and a notice of appeal.
