Lady Jennie served as sec retary for 13 years and joined Cra ter 7 on Deccmocr 14. 1927. Lady Hazel McNeill presented a gill to Lady Pearl lroin her auxll tarv and staled ihat II was honored to have one of its members In the Association ot Oregon. Junior Past President of the As socuuion ol Oregon, Lady Mae Anderson, expressed pleasure in presenting the auxiliary's gift to Lady Mary, her right aid in the Association of Oregon. Photo bv Lewis and Rhodes , . : 1 Mason-Manninq Nuptials In Sacred Heart Church In Sacred Heart Church, April 19. 2 p.m., Clarissa Ellen Mason, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burge Worden Ma son, 403 Lincoln, and Daniel James Manning, USAF, son-of Mr. and Mrs. Francis D. Manning, 1745 Lakeview Avenue, exchanged nuptial vows before a gathering of over 250 guests. Rev. T. P.' Casey officiated at the beautiful and im pressive ceremony. Given by her father in marriage, the bride was lovely in white Chantilly lace and pink nylon tulle over blush pink satin bodice and hooped skirt. The white lace ex tended into a full train. Her fingertip veil of blush pink illusion net was held by a head band of seed pearls. She carried a classic arm bouquet of Lily of the Valley and stephartotis centered with a large pure white orchid. The beauty of the setting was accented with distincUve arrange ments of pink and white snap dragons In the two front and two tade altar bouquets. Beauty vases of the same flowers backed with woodwardla fern were In front of the two floor candelabra at either side. Two clusters of wood wardla fern were on corners of the front altar steps, and In front of another set of candelabra were clusters of woodwardla fern, all Il luminated with lighted white tapers in the candelabra. The white runner cloth down the center aisle was Hanked with silk aisle rope draped from pew bouquets of pink and white snap dragons marking every fourth pew. Maid of honor, Sally Barnhisel. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Barnhisel, wore a white eyelet organdy over a hooped skirt of pale green taffeta with wide taf feta sash and bow. She carried a colonial bouquet of sweetheart roses, feathered carnations sur rounded with Fleur d' amour and hyacinth florets backed with nile green lacelon. She wore a Juliet cap of the same flowers. Bridesmaids were, Ann Egan cousin of the bridegroom: Kath leen Craig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Craig, student at Lewis and Clark; Priscilla Meyer. San Francisco, former classmate of the bride at Stanford; and Joan Hotle. Scbastapol, also former Stanford classmate. All were dressed alike and the same as the maid of honor except that the while eyelet organdy was over pink. Their bouquets were fashioned of pale pink sweetheart roses sur rounded by feathered carnations in the same hue and hyacinth florets backed with pale pink lace lon. Their Juliet caps were of the same flowers. Carmel Finnican dauehter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Finnigari, and Gerry McKendree. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott McKendree. served the wedding cake: Mary Egan.. cousin of the bridegroom was at the punch bowl, and Marilyn Hem mingsen. daughter of Mrs. Herbert Hemmingsen, passed the guest book. Trie bride's going away costume was a navy blue wool sharkskin suit accented with white, a pink hat trimmed in white and navy blue accessories. The couple went by car on their honeymoon down the California coast to Carmel and other points around the bay area. They left May 2. for Omaha, where James is a sergeant in the USAF. Both are KUHS graduates, and Clarissa attended Stanford Univer sity and her husband Santa Clara University.
