Dies DUNHMUIR Erwin A. Bechtel. 63, retired Southern Pacific en gineer, died Friday III the Southern Pacific hospital, San Francisco, where he had been confined lor 10 days. He hsd suffered trom a heart ailment for some time, Bechtel hired nut here aa a fire man April 12, 1910. and was pro moled Ui engineer January 30, 1KH. He retired 16 years ago after a per iod of 3ft yeara service because of 111 health. He was a native of Dululh, Minn.
