Wholesale Egg
Prices Cut Again
Egg price on the wnoiesale mar
ket here were dashed again this
week with AA large eggs taking a
7-cent drop. AA medium and AA i
small were down 3 cents a dozen.
Dealers ascribed the drop. In part, ,
to burdensome supplies of large l
gradea. The fall followed a cut on I
all grade at Seattle.
Today's wholesale prices ' locally
are SB's cent for AA large. 48'i
cent (or AA medium, 40 'v for A A
small,, 65 for A large, and 4Tj
for A medium.
And don't think It won't be dif
ferent. For once we are going to
have a parade without horses. At
the last account there waa only one
horse stated for the big inarch, and
he was wearing harness and hitched
to a sleigh and not all togged out
In a silver mounted saddle. Not
that I have anything against horses.
I think they are fine. But the horse
and the Christmas theme are sep
arated by too wide a space to ring
them In. After all, most of us get
our fill of looking at horses during
the two or three other parades of
the year when they are always In
evidence.
