A Juvenile grange hall has been greatly needed since the fire of June 34 when the Modern Woodman hall burned which the grange had leased for the youngaten. The last few meetings of the Ju venile grange has been held In the home of Allle Hammeralev, who gen erously offered It for the present emergency. Robert Paris was elect ed master of the Juvenile grange at their meeting held last Saturday night. Barbara Fisher was elected as mualclan. 9 Home Ee Dub The Home Ee club met at the grange hall on November 3 with 17 members and eight children pres ent. An election of officers was held putting In the following persons as officers for the coming year. Plans were made for the baiaar to be held November 36 with the chairmen of the various booths ap pointed. The hostess for the meeting as Laura Martin who served apple sauce cake. Tex, are visiting with Mr. and Mn. John Haner. Mrs. Haner and Mrs. Phillips were navy bus driven at the same station In Oak land during the war. Word received from Elder Eugene Barrow who Is In the Providence hoapltal In Portland, by his wife reports that he is gradually Improv ing by th treatment he Is receiving there but he cannot say definitely when he will be able to come home. Evidently aomeon turned In the alarm to th Suburban Firs Dept.. because, almost before I could get stopped and try to do something, they were there and put out th fir.
