Special Kraes Cmadnl THIY give bar In New York every year a horn show. It U u occasion for the Wan street monopolists to drees themselves fancy In tun and diamond and to ahow how many dollar each on I able to (iva Um Impression of having. It !a monopoly capitalism on parade. There are also bone. These hone are not a product of dialectical materialism as proved by tha Mlchurln-Lysenko theories, but are plain capitalistic bone, bred without the aid of the edenufle pro area inspired by Marxlsm-Lenintim-Stallnlsm The bone are shown to Judge who put ribbon on them, thu discriminating against other horse. Dascrlmin atlon Is an American characteristic and they do It not only with horses but also with rose, chrysan themum and everytning else. But the horse are not the most Important biologic units to the bone show. That elite position Is re serred for the women. Really what toes on at the bone show Is that everybody look at the women. Their faces, their clothes, their shapes, their ages, these attract attention. Those who go every year notice that each year some women (row older. , . BUT in this land of capitalistic confusion, this I sot always dear. It takes many yean to dis cover trie true aging process of a woman, because If she ha dollars, she can practice deceptions. For dollars, women can buy new faces, even get a doctor, who should be devoting bis talents to curing diseases as typhus and cholera. Ilk tn our country, to change the shape of their noses, to remove wrinkles, to straighten their teeth. Even women In the working class, even the most down-trodden slave of the Wall street beasts, rres the exploited tollera under Truman s Taft-Ilartley, can go Into a store and buy medicines to mak themselvea beautiful. They can buy some cbmlrals to put on the hair which they call a home perman ent and even their own husbands will think them beauufuL What other men think hah I Even Dottoevsky. the reactionary mystic, could not describe what goes on bera with paints and polishes, with, creams and powders, with home permanent. The exploiter and the exploited, master and alave. they all do It, only the rich pay higher prices In this land where clasa distinction Is established on a price basts. Also tor ths horse ahow, the women have coat made of fur. They do not wear the fur Inside like by us, but always outside In Imitation of the animals who once wore the furs. In the old days, they bought the tun from Siberia. Manchuria. Astrakhan and other places in the Soviet world where every thing exists. But on account of afarshallism, they grow their own minks and foxes and even make Imitations from sheep snd lambs. It Is amazing how they Hoop not to Improve the biologic process out to Imitate whatever Is tint done In the father land of Marxian science. Soviet Russia. AT the horse ahow, I saw many beautiful women. The male attendants do not look o beautiful. The women keep themselves thin- and small to prove they are not of peasant origin. They reject proper food like borsch t, tschl. kashe. They, only eat green salads and Ice-cream. , Their male attendants are not like that, although they spend millions of dollars, wrung from the sweat of the worken and peasant, to keep their fat stomachs looking like a worker on relief. So all the time they take exercise which is imitation work. In this land of confusion, the worker looks fat and the capitalist tries to look like a consumptive. It Is Ilka women buying nice-looking faces to fool their own husbands that they are still beautiful. SO X have been to a Trumanlst horse show, but I have nothing to say about horses. That I what happens to a proletarian In this Hoover Dewey environment. He looks not at first things first, not at horses, which Is why he went to the horse show, but st women which he can see even In the subway. But such are the opiates that they use here that a true follower of Marxism-Leninism-Stalinism, Michurln and Lysenko looks st women Instead of horses. Doctor Soys Excitement Bad for Stutter Boyle's Column Hey, Fellers Love Begins At 40, If Your Arties Last! mi Bal Beyle By BAL BOTXE NEW YORK CfV-With politic out of the wsy for another year, let us return to a quaint, old fashioned subject that enthralls as an. I refer to love 'amour. 1 amour, Tamour. The news from this" crowded field Is pleasant Indeed to those dwell ing In the shady yean of life. For with no govern ment subsidies of any kind, there has been wrought a "Fair Deal' for the middle -aged man In the poli tics of love. He ha turned out to be the romeo of our times. No longer do maidens sigh for the young man with an apple in his hand. They turn to the older sent with a hun dred acres of land. But he doesn't win them with his real estate. It's his sex appeal. For It Isnt life that begins at 40 for the American man. It's love you know, I'amour, .1 amour, I'amour. s Cxle Phua The public awoke to this fact with the discovery that 57-year old Ezio . finza star ol "South Pacific," was ' affecting the weaker sex In a way no other matinee idol has since Ru ', dolph Valentino. Gary Cooper and Clark Gable, 48, ' and Humphrey Bogart, the dean of , psnda-huggers at 50. one year older than the century he lives In. Dorothy Dlx But this recognition of the ama tory leadership of the time-mel-- lowed male didn't become official at least not In my mind until it was confirmed by Dorothy Dix. I hare slways thought that Dorothy . knew more about love than either j Freud or Dr. Kinsey suspected. They had to atk people questions ' about it. Dorothy Just knows all about aftain of the heart from some Interior radar of her own. Well, tother day. Mrs. Dix said yds, it was true that men over 40 are most attractive to women. She said girl bobby soxen mightn't agree, but they didnt know any more about men than they did about food. Experience And Dorothy gave reasons. She said the mature fellow knew more about life, had more to talk about and understood women better than feckless youths. A bald head and s pot tummy didn't offset the Intellectual charm that only yean bring. In her opinion. Dorothy summed It up: "It Is because the man of 40 know women and can play upon them as upon a harp of a thou sand strings that makes him more dangerous to women at that age than any other." Oh. boy! Oh. boy! Oh. boy! Ladies, Tm giving you fair warn ing. I'm 38. getting bald, and I'm 15 pounds overweight. Stuttering, sometimes called summering. Is s common condi tion. It has been estimated that there are about 1J0O.0OO people ho stutter in the United States. Stuttering is a nervous or emo tional disorder. The exact cause is not known. Probably some children are born predisposed to the disor der: that is. they may be cauea stutterer-type. Stuttering is not inherited but the nervous con stitution which makes for suscepti bility to this speech difficulty is probably Inborn. Children of the "stutterer-type- may live for a long time without developing any speech defect un less they have some noca or ac cident which upsets their nervous system.
