Martlndale Wooda read the ceremony before the altar decked with baskets of flowers, palms, and candlelabra, at two thirty In the afternoon. The bride, who was liven in marriage by her father, chose ' a gown of Ice blue satin, fashioned with a peplum which ended In a lace edged train, and sweetheart neckline studded with seed pearls. Her fingertip veil was of Illusion net and she carried a heart-shaped wreath of elf roses and slephanotls, centered with a single orchid. Miss Jean Hilton, maid of honor, and Miss Ruth Landry, brides maid, wore Identical gowns of mullberry colored satin, and carried bouquet of yellow roses and pompons. Nylon net crowns wets their hats. Best man for the groom was Calvin Adklsson of Prtnevllle; and William Keesee and Lawrence Scott were ushers. Before the ceremony Sandy Poteet sang "Beloved It la Now, accompanied by Mrs. Robert Stevens, who also played Incidental orgaa music. Ruth and Shirley Caylord, dressed In gold colored taffeta gowns, lighted tapers. Mrs. Hunt, mother of the bride, wore a grey faille afternoon dress with cerise and white accessories. Mrs. Whitt, mother of the groom chose a black dress, worn with green accessories. The reception, immediately following the double ring ceremony, was in the church parlors, which were decorated with chrysanthemums. Presiding at the tea table were Mrs. Warren Hunt and Mrs. Kernrit Sheets; and Mrs. A. B. Epperson and Mrs. Oliver Bplker assisted about the room. Miss Dorothy Collier passed the guest book. For traveling the bride chose a powder blue suit with her orchid on her shoulder, a pink hat, and black accessories. Husbands may give at their place of business, children may give up a candy bar, ond housewives may deprive themselves of some luxury, in order to participate. Just a suggestion.
