Miss I Bressman has been a house guest ! of Norma Lee denser since thej two girls finished the school yearj at Northwestern university in Evanston. 111. Neva Dallas left on Sunday after spending the past two weeks at the i home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ouy Staiger. Miss Dallas is a public schools su- j nervlsor and make her bom in I Salem. Mrs. Paul Wampler and her sis ter, Mrs. J. M. Williams of Klam ath Palls, and the three Williams boys have been visiting with rela tives In Sunnyside. Wash, for the past two weeks. Wampler and Wil liams left on Friday to drive north after the two women and the chil dren. Kathrvn W a m o 1 e r has been , working at the Corner store for the , past two week. I Mr. and Mn. Le Hoback and Mr. and Mrs. Lav ton Hoback and i Kenny are planning to leave next week-end for a month's trip to Mis- I aourl. Mrs. Les Hoback will finish! summer school in Ashland this week. The tourists will visit with i relative in St. Louis and will pick up the Les Hoback s son. Jim. who has been spending the past few week visiting there. Mrs. Earl Greear was hostess Tuesday evening at the regular meeting of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist church. In addition to the regular four visitors. Mrs. John Lou of Coo Bav. Mrs. Charles Warren of Redding Calif. Mrs. John R. Bart she of Payette. Ida. and Mrs. Fred Kan of Cutler, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. John Lott of Coos Bay were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Greear last week-end. Mrs. Lou remained until Wednesday i evening when she went to OUchrist to visit with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Hamilton. She planned to return to Coos Bay by bus taking with her another house guest of the Hsmil-tons-, Mrs. Katherlne Hulme of Navato, Call!, former Chlloquin resident. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Muskrat of Sacramento, Calif, were local visl ' tors for two or thre days of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Oienger made an overnight trip to the Roseburg ' and Medford area last week, stay ing with Mrs. Oienger sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wil liam Dobyns of Olendal. Mr. and Mrs. Fleet Oreear of Phoenix, Ariz, Mrs. Nena Taylor and her three children of Vallejo. Calif, are guest of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Oreear. The two brothers left on Sunday morning to try their luck at fishing on the Oregon coast. They went to Winchester Bay. Oary Kranenberg oi Klamath Fall was a house guest of hi aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Oreear for several days last week. Janet ODonnell and Sadako Shi ahlto spent part of last week on a berry picking trip, going beyond Union creek to find wild blackber ries. They returned on Saturday ni"- - .. . . Van Wyck Wyckoff returned last week from a trip by train to Penn sylvania. Hi wife remained In the east for another two week. The couple left the early part of the month on vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Rod Waters have moved to the Westside ranch which was recently remodeled with an attractive new front porch and new roof and siding. Mrs. Zelma Reed gave her son. Chuckle, a birthday party July 24 when he was six years old. Many little friends were there and en joyed games and refreshment.
