He had considerable grocery experience in Portland and Seattle before he came here. Phair now resides at Hat Madison with his wife and five rhlkiren. There are eight acres of Isnd at the highway division belonging to raanury. He has additional property across the road where he la building a motel. Mallory plans to finish the motel cabins now that he Is out of the market. He plans to operate the furniture store himself and run his ranch at Keno springs, besides hauling vegetables for the outdoor green-grocery department Jusl add ed to the market. The motel will be offered for lease when It la com pleted, Mallory said. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Olllette of Rose burg have a five-vear lease on the oil station. Dick Howard will con tinue to operate the meat depart ment of the market.
