He tried many forms of treatment without success, and Kldnn thought he was doomed to permanent total bald ness. Today Kldon haa a normal jrrowth of hair. Recently he had his hair cut for the first time aince he became bald. What is the story behind EMon Beerbower't haircut? It is the story of Carl Biandenfels of St. Helens, Oregon, who has solved some of the problems of baldness. SEARCH BEAN IN 1929 Back In 19'J Carl Biandenfels began to search for the cause of baldness. In 1915 he developed two formulas and a unique pressure massage. Almost overnight Carl Brandenfels became world-fnmous. Carl did not place his formulas on the market until actual results convinced him of their worth. Today more than 40,000 men and women have used Brandenfels1 Scalp and Hair Applications and Massage, Kldon Beerbower ia one of these thousands of people. RESULTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES Certified public accountants recently completed an impartial audit of the result letters In Carl's files. Ily this certified count, Carl Brandenfels has received 11,098 lettcra from users who re port from one to all of the following results after using Brandenfels' Scalp and Hair Appli cations and Massage: Renewed hair growth, no more excessive falling hair; relief from dandruff scale, improved scalp condition. Carl Brandenfels docs not make any extrava gant claims. He does not guarantee to promote hair growth because he rcalixca that not every user has grown new hair. At the same time Carl is genuinely proud of the results obtained hy users of his formulas and massage. Carl sin cerely recommends bis home cnurso to men and women who are bald or who are losing their hair. He also recommends it to people suffering from dandruff scale or itching scalp. PRINCIPLES OK HAIR (iltOWTI! Scientists agree that the hair will continue to grow as long as the hair follicle remains un damngeil and as long as nothing interferes with the blood supply to the scalp. Cart believes that in many bald or partially bald people, the hair follicles are alive even though no hair is grow ing from them. Carl does not classify his formu las and mniKiigo with the so-called "hair grow ers." His home course is designed to bring about a more benltliy condition of the srnlp, lo soften the scalp and to increase tbo blood supply to the scalp area. One of Carl's formulas contains, among other Ingredients, tho important agent lanolin. Tha other contains a small percentage of sulfanila mide, Carl believes that proper use of these applications together with his pressure massage will bring about a condition which will help nature lo allow hair to grow. APPLIED AT HOME Brandenfels' Scalp and Hair Applications and Massage are applied in the privacy of your own homo. Directions are easy to follow. The formulas are not sticky and will not rub off on hnt bands, clothing or bed linens. They are In expensive to use. A five-week home course costs $lfi plus $:i Ked. Tax, averaging about ,'10 cents per application. Orders should be sent to Carl Brnndenfuts, St. Helens, Oregon. Ctrl lundintlll y.
