Condrey'a plan is to eventually Install modern lighting all over town but to start on s project lor light ing Main street from Riverside to East Main; East Main out to 8 8th; S. 8th from the city limits to Main; Pine from 3rd to 12th, Klamath First Band Of Mormon Crickets Seen ORDNANCE, Ore., May 28 First large band of Mormon crickets this year was sighted about three miles west of here Thursday. The Insects are west of U. S. high way 30 and are moving towards Ordnance and the Batter creek area wheat fields south of here. First reports indicate the Infesta tion may be as heavy as that of last year. The crickets are dark green at present and less than half grown. They have about two months of eating ahead of them before they lav their eggs and die. Warm weather during the past week was credited with bringing them out. Farmers in the area began mobil izing to meet the threatened inva sion. Last year the crickets were stopped before they did much dam age to crops. Farmers and residents of surrounding towns managed to confine the crickets to the desert areas of U mat ilia and Morrow coun ties. To Buy.
