Dr. C. C. Dickinson, McCloud and George Tebbe, Yreka attorney, in cumbents, carried In all precincts here for the high school board. Op ponents were Sidney O'Connor and Ray W. Hathaway. , At the Carr school where one di rector is to be elected, there ap peared some argument might come out of yesterday's voting. Sam S. Wynn. a new homesteader, reaped 6 write-In votes, but Don Hurlburt received 5, and a Don Hul- burt, 1. John Irving took 3 votes. If the board decides Hurlburt and Hurlburt are one and the same, It will be a tie between Wynn and Hulburt are one and the same. It sary to hold a re-election or whether the board can make a decision, was not known here today. Holdovers are Marvin Thomas and Carl Jen sen. Doug Thomas, only one to file for the Tulelake elementary board, was named to that Job. Holdovers are Don Potter and LeRoy Coyner. At Wlnema elementary, John Takacs was named the new board members with a write-in vote of 34. Clarence Moore received 1 1 write-In votes. Holdovers are Bert Johnson and Harry Mitchell. Mr. and Mrs. -A. H. Johnson left for their home at Lone Pine. Calif., after spending two weeks with rela tives and friends. Mrs. Johnson's mother, Mary J. Smith, accompa nied them for a few weeks' visit. Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Johnson left Monday also, for Big Bear, Calif., to spend a week fishing.
