Written (or NBA Service Diabetes develops when the pan creas, which is a small glmul lying near the stomach, (alls to supply sufficient amount ot a hormone commonly known as Insulin. This hormone is necessary for the proper use ot sugar In the body. When there is not enough Insulin In Uie blood, therefore, the sugar is not properly used. The sugar In the blood Increases and spills over through the kidneys to the urine. The first symptoms of diabetes are not particularly striking. Loss of weight. In spite of a good appe tite and ample diet, is common. In creased urination Is also frequent.
