Mr. Beall waa formerly a well known druggist In Lakeview and has lived there since 1S91. He was graduated from Oregon State col lege in 1888 and was married two years later. Mrs. Beall has lived In Lakeview since 1896. A charter member of the Lakeview Elks lodge, Mr. Beall has been a member for 4ft years. Last Meeting Parent and Patrons of Klamath Union high achool met In the little theatre of the nchool on Wednes day afternoon, April 14. This was the last meeting of the year and there was a very good attendance. Charles Woodhouse announced that the Pellcana program will be broad cast May 6 and asked that mem bers hold that time open for listen lng to the program. The following officers were elect ed to serve for the coming school year: president, Mrs. Hershal Had ley; first vice president, Mrs. Ches ter Lelchty; second vice president, Mrs. L. E. Juniper; treasurer, Mrs. Warren Bonnet; secretary, Mrs. Ellen Patterson. The new presi dent was Introduced to the group and gave a short speech expressing her appreciation of her election as president. Miss Kelxey, head of the home economics department, and a num ber of girls from the department, presented a style showing of gowns made by them. Each garment car ried a tag showing the actual cost of materials. Following the program and style show tea was served in the cafe teria toy Mrs. Vernon Moore, chair man, assisted by Mrs. J. E. Swan sen, Mrs. E J. Blind, Mrs. Hugh Haddock. Mrs John Witte, Mrs. Ralph Knrrer. Mrs. L. D. Oass and Mrs. L. A. Baker. The tea table was lace-covered and centered with yellow daffodils and yellow candles. Easter Rites MERRILL In an Easter service In the First Presbyterian church, Reno. Nev., Virginia Sharp, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Sharp, Merrill, became the bride of Ulenn C. Raskins, also of Mer rill. The groom la the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester P. Raskins. The noon ceremony was read by Rev. Arthur Rice before an altar arrangement of Easter lilies and tall white tapers. The bride wore a dusty pink dressmaker suit with brown acces sories. Three brown orchids were pinned at her shoulder. Owen Sommers, Klamath Falls, the bride's attendant, wore a gray suit with black accessories and her shoulder flowers were pink camellas. Carroll Kandra, Merrill, waa beat man. The new Mr. and Mrs. Raskins left Immediately following the cere mony for a two weeks wedding trip to Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas. Sun Valley and Mt. Hood, skiing at the last two resorts. They will make their home In the Hood apartments, Merrill. Mrs. Hasklna, graduate of Mer rill high school, later attended the University of Oregon. She was af filiated with Alpha Oamma sorori ty. At present she Is recorder for the city of Merrill. The groom, who studied at Ore gon State, will be associated with his father in farming. New Members A record number of members and guests attended the Sojourner meeting of April 14, when 47 signed the attendance book. Among the were the following guests, present for either the first or second time: Mrs. N. E. Nelson, Mrs. A. F. Betsch, Mrs. Howard Stroud, Mrs. H. W. Davis, Mrs. F. A. Boyd, Mrs. E. C. Galbreath, and Mrs. Rosalyn Jack son. Thirteen new members were In troduced by the club president, Mrs. Charles Houston. Attendance at three meetings constitutes mem bership for Sojourners, and some of the new members were present for the third time at the spring tea. Mrs. John Voth, Mrs. R. A. McDonald. Mrs. E. A. Parrett, and Mrs. Jack Dickman are now members of the club for newcomers. The Sojourner spring dinner dance Is in the offing, according, to Mrs. Marshall Poole, chairman of this annual affair. The rest of the committee working on the dance is Mrs. Gerald Garner, Mrs. Ted Llnd. Mrs. John Argelsmger, Mrs. H. E. Schoenberg and Mrs. S. J. Anderson. The date of the dance will be announced shortly, Mrs. Poole slated, and It will take the place ol the first meeting in May. Hostesses for the aiternoon, Mrs. Carl Sparks and Mrs. Jack Dick man, awarded clever prizes of spring bulbs, seeds and rose plants to the following women in cringe, Mrs. H, W. Davis and Mrs. Walter Turner, and to Mrs. Allan Fletcher in pinochle. Young Group Juveniles of the Royal Neighbors of America met last Friday evening, with 17 members and two guests present. Director of the group Is Frances Klllian. In the apartment of Miss Rich ardson and Miss Tromblade, guests were seated at a table centered with spring blossoms and tapers. The main dinner course was served In the home economics room of the high school with Principal and Mrs. Harold Hendrickson. Mr. and Mrs. K. C. Burke and Mrs. Turmell ax hosts. The spring theme was further carried out here and at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Luke McAnulty where dessert waa served. Assisting Mrs. McAnulty wars Miss Belk and Mr. Smith. Mr. and Mra.
