Work on the building has advanced utficlently to permit informal meetings to be held there, and will be ready lor complete use In a few weeks. The time tet la California day light saving time, and Klamath people wishing to attend are asked to note the difference. An organ and aong books from the First Christian church will be provided. This first meeting Is ft Tranced primarily for acquainting those in terested with what has been ac complished and what remains to be done to the building. Dean Stephens will present special mu sic, and Rev. Howard F. Hutchins will speak briefly. Church Of Christ Services Slated Regular services will be held this week at the Church of Christ. S30S Wantland, Including worship, Com munion and Bible study. Bible clav.es are held at 10 a. m., Sunday, with weekly Bible study at 7:30 p. m . Wednesday. Worship is at 11 a. m. with Communion at 11:45 a. m . and the evening wor ship at 1:30 Sundays. All are wel- Songf est To Service Open "Why Do People Co to Church will be the sermon theme at the morning worship of the First Chris tian church, at 9th and Pine streets. The weekly observance of the Lord's sapper Is held each Sunday at 11 a. m. as an Integral part of wor ship. Special music will be sung by Charles I'hlig and Dean Stephens. Evening sesisons begin at 6:30 for aU Christian Endeavor members. A group of 11 left for the state con vention at Albany, returning late Sunday evening. Evangelistic serv ices start at 7:30, with a songf est. The church news spotlight is a feature of the evening session. The sermon, "Where are the Witnesses?" will be the theme. The communion la always ready at the evening hour for all those who may have missed In the morning. Wednesday mid week sessions start at 7 p. m., and two periods are held, one at 7:15 and the other at 8:15. Teacher training, public speaking, choir and also two classes on Bible study are available for all who desire to attend. Sermon Series To Open 'Th Secret of Victory" will be the topic of the second sermon In a aeries based on the theme of 'Victorious Living" being presented by Rev. Victor A. Schulze, pastor of the Zion Lutheran church, 11th and High. The morning worship begins at 11 o'clock. The Sunday ecnool and Bible class meet at the ngular time, 9:45 a. m. The Zion Ladles Aid will hold Its regular monthly meeting Thurs day, April 22, at the church, be ginning at 2 p. in. Mrs. E. Blind and Mrs. L. Brazee will be hostesses for thia meeting. Members and friends are Invited to attend. Grand Opening Set Sunday Plans are complete for the grand opening of the new educational building of the First Baptist church, N. 8th and Washington streets, Sunday, April 18. All departments are planning for a large attendance to mark this event In the lite of the church. Motion pictures of the entire Sun day school will be taken showing the school by departments and classes with each worker In his respective group. A tour of In spection Is also planned Immedi ately following the morning ser vice with Boy Scouts acting as guides. All families are urged to be present Sunday morning. The pastor. Rev. Cecil C. Brown, states that some work Is still un finished, particularly outside the building. Landscaping and outside decorating will be done as condi tions permit. Wr? Fields To Speak Sunday "What Does the Bible Teach Concerning Marriage, Divorce and Re-marriage." will be the sermon topic of Pastor Keith P. Fields of the Bible Baptist church Sunday morning at the 11 o'clock hour. Sunday school convenes at 9:45 a. m. each Lord's Day. There are classes for all ages, graded accord ing to the school year, that is. a child in the second grade in a pub lic school will be placed in a class where only second graders are. The sermon topic for Sunday eve ning will be. "Noah, a Man Superior to His Surroundtnes." This is a study of the Old Testament con cerning Noah and his determination to follow the will of the Lord rather than the ways of those about him. The public Is cordially Invited. Congregational Nursery Held Morning service at the Congrega tional church Sunday at 11 o'clock will be conducted by the minister. Rev. Godfrey Matthews, who will , preach on the subject, "What is the Vchurch?," a sermon specially ad dressed to those for whom the ques-. tlon Is one of great difficulty. The liturgical parts of tie service will be led by the choir under the di rection of Marie Casjens. who will also play the organ prelude and postlude. A nursery for little children Is ' conducted In the Community hall during the hour of worship by members of the Junior circle. The high school group meets Wednesday evenings after choir practice at S o'clock and is study ing "What a Christian Believes." ' Church Moves To New Site The reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints an nounces its new location. Services are now being held in the auditor ium of the city library. Beginning this Sunday, church school services will be held In the auditorium under the direction of Ted Schuld. who is in charge of the Klamath Falls mission. Church school services are held between 10 and 11 a. m. each Sun day. The mission has been duly or ganized in conformity with church regulations. All are cordially in vited to attend, and members are urged to take an active part in the organization. Scientists Slate Service The usual weekly services will be held beginning Sunday at the First Church of Christ. Scientist. 10th and Washington, with morning wor ship and Sunday school at 11 a. m.. and an evening meeting at 8 o'clock Wednesday.
