N. p.. said congress is working on a com promise version of the Rockwell bill to extend the repayment period on federal reclamation projects from 4 to 78 years. He said he expected agreement on a 60-year repayment period. Another bill, he said, '"has a bet ter chance of passage at this session than the Rockwell bill."
