Vacationing at hla summer home at Polnte-au-PIc, about 70 miles northeast of here, Taft commented on a statement made by the 10th general synod of the Bible Presby terian Churches of America. Taft aald "this Is a set of charge made by a very small and extremely fundamentalist group which are not worth dignifying by an answer." In convention at Tacoma, Wash., Friday the synod blasted the council as "the voice of modernism" and representing "radical pacifism In In America."
