Thomas announced alto that the committee unanimously approved a report on the Southern Conference Peoples Court Frees Schmidt VIENNA, June 13 M" A Vienna people's court today acquitted Dr. Ouldo Schmidt, the Austrian foreign minister before antchkiM, of high treason charges. The five-man court ruled that charges accusing Schmidt of betray ing Chancellor Kurt Schuschnlgg and engineering the 1938 Austrian link with Oermany to advance his own interests had not been proven.
