Mis and Master Klamath Falls will be selected by the Judges as welt a six boys and six girls from various age classes. Loving cups, trophies and blue ribbons will be awarded the winners at the grand finale to the Kiddle Karnival, June t, at KUHS auditorium. Talented vouncsters were called lor a practice audition Sunday afternoon at the Eagles club, and the committee in charge announces that a galaxy of musical numbers, songs, dsnres, acrobats. and read ings will be presented at the show. Talent entrants will also be judged on Saturday, with the judges mak ing eliminations, and selecting the ' stare of the various groups. Lester Anderson, alumni director, announced this week. - They Include the classes of 1887. 1887, 1907, 1913, 1917. 1923. and 1937. The week-end will open Satur day morning with the semi-annual meeting of the Oregon Alumni as sociation, followed by a luncheon in John Straub Memorial hall. Lunch eon speakers will be Dr. H. K. Roseburg Rejects Proposed Budget - ROSEBURG. May 38 OA A pro posed city budget which would have exceeded the 9 per cent limitation by S79J18 S3, was rejected yesterday by a margin of 90 votes. The budget was the highest In citv history and called for expenditures of S191.43S. of which S161.493.S8 was to be raised by taxes. The vote was 990 with 450 voting yes and S40 no.
