Freeze Put On Alaska Building JUNEAU, Alaska, April 10 UP) A "freeze" order on all appro priations for the 1947-49 bicn nium except those essential to the operation of the territorial government, has been issued by the territorial board of admin istration, Attorney General Ralph Rivers disclosed today. The action followed estimates that revenues for the biennium would full an estimated $3,750, 000 short of the $310,000,000 appropriated by the legislature, Rivers said. Principal effect of the order will be to halt all new construc tion of schools, hosoitala, roads, airfields, floats and small boat harbors.
