Camp Fire News Thl'i week the Camp Fire Girls arc aiding in the March of Dimei campaign. Such service ii a vital part of the program of the organi zation, and the eagerness ot the iris to Dartlclnate In such a worthy cause is easily under standable. Many 01 we i-mp Fire Girls helped In the distribu tion of collection cans to mer chants throughout the town, and during the next few Saturdays they will set up booths in some stores with the March of Dimes displays. Work at the Camp Fire house Is continuing, with many of the guardians offering their services toward its completion. Through the generous help of some of the Camp Fire "fathers," a great deal of carpentry work has already been accomplished, and soon we hope to finish this undertaking. There is still a great deal of paint ing to be done, and any guardian who Is Interested is asked to lend her services. Groups have recently been electing new officers for the coming year. The officers retain office for a short period each year, thereby allowing more girls to have the experience of assum ing such responsibilities. The Blue Bird group of Conger school announces the following new officers: President. Adelia Kirk land; vice president, Juanita Easter; treasurer, Janice Shults. At the Fairhaven school, the new officers in Mrs. McCann's group consist of president, Katherine Mctann; vice president, bnirley McFarland, and secretary, Joan Brow.
