Home Extension Unit Kcws MidUnd The home extension unit met t the grange hall December 19. Mrs. H. B. Largent and Mrs. Roy Huff gave the demonstration on wild game cookery and prepared a delicious meal, served to the iroup. . Business Included discussion of the Co-op house, and a vote to divide the care of children at the meetings between the members. "Color in the Home" will be the subject of the January meet ing to be held on the 28th at the home of Mrs. John Mistier. HenUy Mrs. Howard Jackson enter tained the home extension unit on December 19. The hostess and Mrs. Fred Crapo gave the "wild game cookery" demonstra tion. Mrs. Kendall led the bus iness meeting and a lesson in making Christmas wreathes was given by Mrs. Albert Keady and Mrs. Charles DeLap. Mrs. M. G. Brannon will be hostess to the group for the January meeting. The November meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Wil liam Williams when Mrs. Earl Mack and Mrs. J. B. Crawford led a demonstration on "Easier Washdays." Fairy gardens for holiday decorations were demon strated by Mrs. Albert Keady. "Azalea House" was the name voted upon for the girls dormi tory to be built at Corvallis. A recipe for barbecued sparcribs submitted by Mrs. Myron Taylor was chosen by the group. ... Pelican The unit met in December in the cafeteria of the Pelican school with Mrs. Ralph Karrcr and Mrs. Glenn Brumble as proj ect leaders demonstrating "wild game cookery. Decorative materials provided by Oregon forests were discussed by Mrs. O. B. Larson. Refresh ments were served after business was concluded. Those at the meeting were Mrs. B. L. Valk. Mrs. G. L. Yan tis. Mrs. J. A. Blevins. Mrs. J. W. Lawson. Mrs. L. Williams, Mrs. M. L. Wilson, Mrs. C. B. Whit lock. Mrs. O. B. Larson. Mrs. J. P. Linman, Mrs. G. J. Brum ble. Mrs. Kaipn Karrer, . Mrs. Otis Stanbery, Mrs. E. W. Sigler, Mrs. Vera Sutherland. Mrs. Paul Buck, Mrs. F. H. Petty and Mrs. A. C. Erickson. A meeting was hold January 10 in the school cafeteria with Mrs. C. B. Whitlock and Mrs. O. B. Larson, giving Uie demon stration on "bread bakery." Re freshments were served. . Chiloquin Mrs. John Lott had the home extension unit meeting on Janu ary 8. A winter flower arrange ment of dried grasses was dis played by Mrs. George Brant lacht, chairman. Mrs. Folk Had dock president, presided. Mrs. Winnifred Gillcn talked on "Color in the Home," and a valentine party was voted on for the February Heetifig to be held at the home of Mrs. Haddock with Mrs. Earl Hall and Mrs. Forest Freid Riving the demon stration on bread baking. Besides Mrs. Lott. Mrs. Had dock, Mrs. Brautlacht and Mrs. Gillcn there were present Mrs. Walter Collins. Mrs. William Priebe. Mrs. Sylvester Unruh, Mrs. Fred Markwardt and Mrs. Tcllevick. ... Fairhaven The Fairhaven home extension will meet at the home of the chairman, Mrs. Percy Cook, at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, January IS, Mrs. Winnifred GUlen will demonstrate "Color in the Home," displaying samples of colors and materials for furni ture and draperies. Everyone interested is cordi ally invited and asked to bring his own table service. Potluck will be served at noon. Credit Association To Meet In Armory The annual meeting of the Klnmitlh Production Credit as sociation, scheduled originally for the exhibit building at the fairgrounds on January 25, will bo held t the Klamath Falls armory instead, it was an nounced Saturday by Leo S. Mc. Mullen, secretary treasurer of KPCA. Registration will start prompt ly at 1 1 a. m. and luncheon will be svrved at 12 o'clock noon. The annual meeting will gut un der way soon after luncheon and on the order of business is elec tion of a director for a three year term. William Kittredge, president of the association since its organization in 1934. is also a director and his term expires this year.
