The text was written by Edith Sanford Tillotson and the music was arranged by Ira B. Wilson. The cantata presents the Biblical story of the events in the life of Christ from the triumphant entry to His resurrection and as cension. The Easter music is under the direction of H. G. Shirey. Ellsworth The Public ii Welcome and Cordially Invited One Service Only No Evening Meeting Sunrise Services BEATTY, April 19 The Sun rise services for the Klamath and Modoc Indians and friends will take place at the Boatty church. At 7 a. in., breakfast will be served, followed by a program which will include solos by members of the tribe, string ensemble, and numbers by the local choir. Rev. Harley A. Zeller, assisted by Mrs. Zcller will deliver the sermon. The services, a tradition which has taken place among the Klamaths for many years, was not held last year because of the war and members in the service. In the evening the Easter serv ice will take place at the Wil liamson River church at 8 p. m. An invitation to attend these two services is extended by Rev. Zel ler and the Klamatlis. "Easter Hope" Topic "Our Easter Hope" will be the topic of Victor A. Schulze, pastor of Zion Lutheran church, 1025 High, at the morning Easter wor ship service. Communion will be celebrated in connection with this service. Special music for the occasion will be offered by the Zion choir. The Sunday school with classes for all ages of children and a Bible class for adults meets at 9:45 a. m. The coast guard maintains the world s largest lireboat fleet. Wissen bach, pastor, will continue Holy Week services with a 3 p. m. Saturday service and administra tion of holy baptism in the church. The services on Easter Sunday will be two celebrations of the sung Holy communion; the first service at 8 a. m. and the second at 11 a. m. The children's Easter service will be held at 10 o'clock and the children are asked to bring their mite boxes to this service. Easter Monday being the sec ond day of Easter observance, there will be a service of the holy communion at 10 a. m. Chimes Will Ring Rev. Victor Phillips, pastor of First Methodist church, an nounced today that the new Eagle Memorial tower chimes will ring forth the Easter mes sage at 10:45 a. m. Sunday. Mrs. John O'Connor will play the chimes. Calvary Commandery. Knights Templar, of Klamath Falls will attend services in a body at this church, Sunday at 11 a. m. K. Lutherans Extend Wishes Klamath Lutheran church ex tends to all, best wishes for a happy Easter and a cordial in vitation to share its Easter wor ship. The call to worship will -be sounded from the church tower at 9:30 a. m. when a trumpet trio with Gaynor Huck, Bert Buf fington and Bennie Shepherd, members of the seventh grade Sunday school class, will play Christian hymns. Sunday school meets at 9:45 a. m. and all pupils and teachers are urged to be on time so that records may be completed before 10 o'clock. Each child attending Sunday school will receive an Easter souvenir. Junior worship will be held in the church auditorium at 10 a.m. Junior choir will sing and junior ushers will be in charge of the offering which will be given to Lutheran World Action. Mrs. F. E. Wilkes will be at the organ for this service. The Rev. S. M. Topness will preach on the sub ject, "The First Easter Day." Besides the members of the Sunday school parents and others who may wish to attend are heartily welcome. The Easter Festival worship will be held at 11 a. m. with the pastor using as his subject, "Again, Is Christ Risen?" Mrs. A. H. Denison, church organist, will be at the organ console. Easter Play Peace Memorial Presbyterian church meeting in the Altamont junior high scnool building, 6th and Summers lane. Easter serv ices at the 9:45 Sunday school hour will include an Easter play by the high school department, A. C. Olson, superintendent. Special music by the school and Sunday school orchestra, di rected by Mrs. Hugh T. Mitchel more. This service will be held in the school gymnasium'. The regular worship, 1 1 o'clock serv ice will include three anthems by the high school and adult choir.
