Local schedules for the ar
rival of northbound passenger

6:09 a.m., 3:35 a.m. and 3:20
a, m.
Departure time for north
bound trains arc 0:50 p.m., 11:45
a.m., 6:20 a.m., 3:43 a.m., and
3:30 a.m.
For southbound passengers,
trains will arrive at 0:45 a.m.,
7:50 a.m., 6:30 p.m., 12:53a.m.
and 1:10 a.m.
Southbounds will leave at 7:05
a.m., 8:05 a.m., 6:30 p.m., 1:05
a. m., und 1:20 a. m.
Freight trains will also be
affected by the speed-up. It
may be necessary to make some
changes In the schedules after
the first trial runs, but SP hopes
to make these schedules hold.

Shippers throughout the west
ern states have joined the 10th
annual "perfect shipping" cam
paign of the regional shippers
advisory boards to be conducted
nationally during April in an
effort to reduce losses which

The purpose of the campaign
is said to be to intensify interest
of shippers, carriers, and freight
receivers in improved packing,
loading and handling of mer
chandise in transit.
