Station KFJI Will Hold 'Open House' Basin area residents have been extended an Invitation to an "open house" at radio station KFJI, Tuesday, March 12, from 7 to 0 p, m. KFJI recently com pleted extensive remodeling In their Willurd hotel location. This Is the first extensive alteration made In the local facilities since its Inception In 1031. Studio programs will be pre sented and broadcast from 7:15 to 0 p. m., featuring local talent and visitors arc invited to at tend a dance and buffet in the Wlllard hotel ballroom at the conclusion of the studio pre sentations. Former KF Man Claimed By Death Telegrams were received here toduy telling of the death Sun day of Hoimcr Knight, former Klamath man, at Redwood City, Calif. Mr. Knight lived here many years, and was a cook at various eating establishments. He was a member of the Elks lodge. Funeral services will be held Friday at Redwood City. Hugh Fuller in Paris while he served overseas. The eieht bv 10-inch bust- portraits are three-dimensional, giving them a wavy appearance and a look of realism and move ment. -Costing $40 each, the pictures are of a type not often seen in this country. According to Mrs. Fuller, local photograph ers said that they had never seen such work, and don't know how it is done. Part of the ef fect of movement t" achieved by a special type of glass used to cover the photographs. The Fullers had given up ever getting the pictures, which were packed for mailing over a year ago wnen tneir son was in Czechoslovakia, but they arrived this week In excellent condition.
