WHEAT CHICAGO, Jan. 17 (AP- The price of May rye reached its highest peak in 25 years at times today with most brok ers reluctant to sell except for flurries of profit taking. Offerings were light as the grain climbed 4 cents to $1.95W a bushel in early dealings before leveling off and turning downward around mtdsesston. December wheat and oat were at new seasonal highs at times, while the de ferred deliveries of rye attracted no at tention at celling prices.
