Dec. 13 (VP) Postwar problems of Oregon farmers, who depend on out-of-state markets for every major crop except hogs and sweet clo ver seed, are being mulled at the annual conference of agricultur al and home economics workers at Oregon State college. E. L. Potter, chief of the col lege division of agricultural eco nomics, told the group domestic and foreign surpluses might tend to depress prices oeiow produc tion costs. "Oregon farmers are particu larly affected by such surpluses" he said, "because the state de pends on out-of-state markets." The annual conference opened Tuesday and will end tomorrow.
