Couldn't Swim Water lifted the plane up and the colonel called to me to come to tho front of tho plnno, We tot on a wing and I becama wor rled for the first time becnuso I can't swim, and the water was ruthina up. Tho colonel went down In the water and after that I didn't see the Wac. About that timo there was lots of screaming. I didn't remember much after that until I was in the raft with Patrick. I couldn t move my legs then, but all that seems wrong now is my back and pain In tho pelvic region. When I wns feeling to sec If I was bloody I found my rosary. I found It in my vest and felt much relieved. We were In the raft about ten hours before tho destroyer es cort Tills picked us up. Later wc were transferred to the Casa blanca.
