He entered the service from Klamath Falls in October, 1942. Hankins hns received the good conduct medal, the ETO ribbon with two Bronze Stars for participation In battles in Germany, Hankins will report back to Camp Bcnlo before be ing sent to Kentucky for further training. His wife lives at the Evons apartments in Klamath falls. Captain Castel has been with the tun air lorce and has com pleted 65 missions. He holds the Air Medal with 11 Oak Leaf Clusters, the Silver Star, and the UJ-C. . . Ho was home from Europe on a leave at Christmas time this last year and then returned overseas to Germany.
