Wool Appraised Here Government wool appraisers in Klamath Falls Friday ap praised 169,500 pounds of wool at the Jack O'Connor ware house. Prices determined will range from 42.92 to 50.98 cents per pound f.o.b. Boston, or $5.40 per 100 pounds to ship to Boston. All large lots were taken in regional bags except one clip of 32,000 pounds which has to be graded in Boston. Five small clips graded here will average growers 40 cents per pound. FREED BY COURT PORTLAND, July 14 UP) Two Klamath Indians were free today after being acquitted in federal court on a charge of steal ing wine and beer from a store at Chiloquin. Bill Langley. attorney for Percie Ball and Alfred Butler, argued that the case was not one of federal jurisdiction, since the pilfering charged was not trom a federal store, although within the boundaries of the Klamath reservation. The question of whether or not the liquor was stolen was consequently not decided. Clarence A. Humble, district attorney here, said this morning that his office was notified of the theft, but that upon investiga tion he was informed that the case would be turned over to federal authorities for action. Six Drags Search Lake For Body ' Another drag was taken to the Lake o' the Woods this morning to assist in the search for Robert Barney Hollings worth, 25, who apparently drowned there Tuesday night. There are now six drags oper ating at the scene of the acci dent. Members of the sheriffs office here and volunteer work ers have been dragging the lake since Wednesday morning in a vain effort to recover the body. Hollingsworth was presumed droVned Tuesday night when the boat in which he was riding with four companions .capsized during a storm. The others were rescued.
