By PAUL HAINES . ;s i Using a fast breaking offense I Combined with occasional stall ing tactics, the Klamath Pelicans played their best ball game of the season on the KUHS maple Saturday night in handing the Cavemen from Grants Pass a 49 to 37 lacing to take undisputed possession of second place in the final southern uregon con ference standings. ! Noreen was in on every play in the ball game and his ball hawking ability was a standout feature of the tussle. ! Larry White, Bud Biehn, and Dean Mason also turned in a good ' game to enable the Peli cans' to bow out in their final conference clash in a blaze of glory.
