All who have not mailed in their bazaar envelopes to the academy are urged to do so within the next week. ! From Westwood Gcraldinc and Joan Kent of Westwood. Calif., visited at the home of their uncle and mint, Mr. and Mrs. Lane Warren of California avenue Monday, en route to Everett, Wash., where they will make their home. Visiting George H. Martens and daughter Lucille, of Tamora, Neb., are visiting here for sever al weeks at the home of his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. August Mar tens, and his sister, Mrs. Don Brazcc. Home On Leave Cpl. Fred O. McNaught, USMC. is home on leave from Camp Pendleton, Calif., visiting his wife, Karlcnc, at 403 Lincoln. Cpl. McNaught will be here until February 22. when he will report back to Camp Pendleton. lr-iin:i'jJTI II In England Word has been received by Mrs. lone Linrt that her son, TSgt. James Lawrence Linzi, has arrived safely in Eng land. His wife, Ray, is stationed witli the Wac at Las Vegas. Nev. Lawrence has been in the air corps for four years, having served for six months in the Alaska theater of operations, Pvt. Alfred "Pat" Lee Linzi, U. S. marine corps. James' younger brother, has been in the South Pacific lor more man two years. He has recently been pro moled to the rank of corporal. BPW Plans Exhibit Members of the Business and Professional Women's club who have received gifts of an artistic nature from other countries are asked to bring them to Monday evening s dinner meeting for an exhibit which will be a feature of the in ternational relations program, in charge of Lucile Tweed. She screamed and scared the boys away. Mrs. Olson was ahie to give n fairly accurate description of the culprits and city police and Ju venile authorities nre following up every available lead. Flood comlilions will reach their peak some time today, but no water will be spilled into Tule lylto. Lost river has drop ped about six Inches at llarpuld dam and a further drop Is antici pated bv reclamation officials. This is the first lime In two years that walor conditions have iaxed the capacity of the diver sion channel. - Couple Found Dead From Gas Poisoning SEATTLE. Feb. 17 itVi Mr. and Mrs, William A. McGregor were found dead In the base ment of their home last night, victims of what Deputy Coroner George Hall described as acci dental gas poisoning. Gas leaked from n main, Wall said, appar ently cut when a shrub was re moved recently from n corner of the house.
